LaTasha's Story
I am from San Bernardino, CA and decided to relocate to Atlanta, GA 2 years ago. I choose to live in Atlanta, GA because I liked the area and it was an opportunity for me to start a fresh. Thus, Atlanta was chosen.

Once I arrived, I faced many barriers. Some of these obstacles were obtaining employment, paying my bills, and making sure that my personal necessities were cared for regardless if there was money there or not. In addition, I unexpectedly had to take and pass the Georgia Assessment for Counseling Education (GACE) for School Guidance Counseling. Until this goal was accomplished, I worked at Krogers Grocery Store as a courtesy clerk (ie.bagging clerk), then as a camp counselor for summer youth camp, and eventually as a substitute teacher for a local school district near Atlanta, GA.

I eventually passed my GACE tests and continued working as a substitute teacher. However, my salary from substitute teaching was just enough to put groceries in my home. That was not enough to cover other bills that surpassed these expenses. This was a contributing factor to my decision to sell Gold Canyon Candles.

Gold Canyon Candles was introduced to me by mother. She burned their candles, used their room sprays, and used their other products. The atmosphere in our home was nice and comfortable. When others would arrive to our home she received wonderful compliments. This eventually lead to others to try Gold Canyon. Their positive responses to Gold Canyon trickled to others and so forth. It even encouraged me.
